CLIENT CONDUCT DURING THERAPY / CAREER COUNSELING SESSIONS

  • To ensure a focused and effective therapy or career counseling experience, clients are requested to refrain from using mobile phones or any electronic devices during sessions. This includes answering calls or responding to texts and playing music/ videos.  All devices must be set to silent mode to minimize distractions and allow you to fully engage in the session.
  • If a client continues to disregard this request, the Psychologist reserves the right to terminate the session immediately. Please note that no refund will be provided in such instances.
  • Being repeatedly late for therapy or career counseling sessions may result in Serene Hour choosing to discontinue future appointments with the client.
  • Serene Hour reserves the right to refuse admission to any client. Any misconduct directed towards the staff or the Psychologist may result in the immediate termination of therapy or career counseling services, with no refund provided on session fees. Misconduct includes the following behavior: use of foul language, threats, aggression/ physical violence.
  • Failure to adhere to the above guidelines may lead to the termination of the session, cancellation of future appointments, and no refund of fees.

BOOKING A VIRTUAL SESSION POLICY

  • To book a session, please contact us on the Serene Hour office number +91 7738173043. Either call, message or email us. A team member will allocate a session date and time.
  • Please Note, Serene Hour is currently based in Mumbai, India and our business hours are conducted at the Indian Standard Time (IST). Therapy and  career counselling session time slots are given at the Indian Standard Time.
  • The virtual session is confirmed only after the fee payment is complete and the client share’s a screenshot of the payment receipt with us 6 to 12 hours prior to the time of your appointment. Only then a meeting link for the virtual session is generated.
  • If the fee payment is not completed on time, the appointment is subject to being cancelled/ unconfirmed by Serene Hour.  

ARRIVING LATE TO THE SESSION POLICY

  • Serene Hour has a waiting policy of ten minutes at the start of your session. Being late beyond ten minutes, the session stands cancelled. The client is not eligible for a refund on the session fees.
  • If the client wishes to take the session. No extra session time shall be given, beyond the original session time allotted to the client.  This is to ensure that our sessions run on time and no extra wait time is given to other clients.

RESCHEDULE POLICY

  • To reschedule a virtual session. The client must inform 6 to 12 hours prior to the time of their appointment during the Serene Hour business hours from (Monday to Friday, 10:30 am – 7:30pm). Client availing a reschedule of their session is subject to availability of appointments.
  • Last minute rescheduling of a session (at the time or an hour prior to the time of your appointment) is not allowed.
  • Clients are allowed only one reschedule per session. Multiple rescheduling of sessions is not permitted, and no refund is given.
  • Team Serene Hour sends ample reminders to clients regarding their session. In case, If the client is not present at the time of the session and no information is given to Serene Hour 6 to 12 hours prior to the time of the appointment. The virtual session stands cancelled. The client cannot avail a reschedule on the session and no refund on fees is given.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • We try our best to accommodate any unforeseen changes in our client’s schedules. To cancel a virtual session. Kindly inform us via email or a WhatsApp text, 6 to 12 hours prior to the time of your appointment during the Serene Hour business hours from (Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 7:30pm). Serene Hour will issue a full refund of your fees. Within 7 business working days.
  • In case of a cancellation by the therapist. The client will be informed in advance and either a full refund of the session is given, or the client can avail a reschedule of the session.

PAYMENT OF FEES POLICY

  • All virtual therapy and career counseling sessions are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment, which must be made 6 to 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. A screenshot of the payment receipt must be shared with us via the Serene Hour WhatsApp number at +91 7738173043 to confirm your booking.
  • For in-person sessions at the Serene Hour office, payment is due at the conclusion of the session. Serene Hour accepts payments via cash or online methods only. Please note, card payments are not accepted for in-person sessions at office.
  • In the event that a client chooses to end their therapy or career counseling session earlier than their allotted session time. The full session fee remains payable. Serene Hour does not offer any concessions or discounts on session fees.
  • Please note, our session fees are standard for all clients. Serene Hour does not offer any discounts or concessions.
