CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
Yes. Many mothers experiencing postpartum depression continue to care for their baby and manage daily responsibilities, even while feeling emotionally low, disconnected, or overwhelmed internally. Counselling does not require things to be falling apart. It can offer space to explore what you are carrying beneath the surface, at a pace that feels manageable.
Serene Hour does not provide crisis or emergency counselling services. If you are in immediate distress or concerned about your safety, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis support line for immediate assistance.
No. Counselling for postpartum depression at Serene Hour offers a non-judgemental space to speak openly about your experience of early motherhood, including feelings that may feel uncomfortable, confusing, or difficult to admit. There is no expectation to feel a certain way about your baby or about motherhood, and no pressure to present yourself as coping.
There is no set number of sessions. Some people find a short number of sessions helpful, while others choose to continue over a longer period. The pace and duration of counselling are guided by your needs and preferences, and can be reviewed at any point.
